SocialWorkCAS Fee Waiver Program
Applying to graduate school can be expensive and time consuming. To help, SocialWorkCAS offers application fee waivers for students meeting certain service- or income-based requirements.
It’s not hard to see why SocialWorkCAS is the first national application service to offer fee waivers for current and former military service members. “Those who have served in the military or in community-based programs have a uniquely valuable perspective that will contribute to their success as students and as social work practitioners,” shared Darla Spence Coffey, CEO and President of CSWE, about the fee waiver program.
The waivers will also cover those who have served their communities in the following programs: AmeriCorps, City Year, Peace Corps, and Teach for America. In addition to service-based waivers, SocialWorkCAS also supports individuals who meet the low-income qualifications as determined by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (poverty guidelines).
Application fee waivers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The fee waiver covers the initial application fee ($75). To learn more about this opportunity, please visit the SocialWorkCAS Applicant Help Center.
